Delicious Candied Bacon with Chocolate

This Candied Bacon is Delicious! We added Chocolate to make it a wonderful Valentine’s appetizer and super simple to make for your favorite person!

Delicious Candied Bacon with Chocolate


1 pound of extra thick bacon
1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
1/4 tsp. Bourbon Smoked Sea Salt (opt)
3/4 c. brown sugar

1. Preheat the oven at 350 degrees and put aluminum foil on the baking sheet, then spray non-stick cooking spray on the foil.
2. Mix the paprika, sea salt and brown sugar together. Then put the bacon strips in the mixture and coat them on both sides.
3. Lay the strips on the baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, check to see when the bacon starts to burn brown on the edges and be firm.
4. Remove from the pan and let the bacon cool on a platter. It can be eaten plan or put chocolate on it.
5. Chocolate Dipped Bacon--Just melt Wilton Chocolate Candy Melts in the microwave for a minute, then dip the ends of the bacon in the chocolate and let cool.
