Nothing is better than a homemade beer bread – it smells and tastes amazing, but is also a super easy bread to make.  We have combined our love for the Hamptons and Texas with our favorite Jalapeno Monauk Beer Bread.  Its super simple AND amazingly delicious!  Bake away!

Jalapeno Montauk Beer Bread

Ingredients

3 cups of King Arthur Self Rising Flour
½ cup of sugar
12 oz. of Montack Beer, any flavor, we prefer the Driftwood Ale
½ Land of Lakes butter, melted
Sliced Jalapenos in a can or jar

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan
Step 2: Mix the flour, sugar and stir well in a medium mixing bowl
Step 3: Make a hole in the middle of the dry mixture and pour in the room temperature beer. Stir. Then add the drained sliced jalapenos
Step 4: Stir to mix, but do not over stir. Spoon into the greased loaf pan
Step 5: Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees, watching for it to start browning
Step6: Remove from the oven and punch holes in the top with a fork. Pour melted butter over the top and bake 15 more minutes with the temperature lowered to 325 degrees

Remove from the loaf pan onto a cutting board! Cut and eat hot with more butter on it!

Simply Delicious…Hampton Style!
