Chocolate Lava Cookies for Christmas

1 1/3 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. packed dark brown sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt.
1/4 cup butter, softened
3 large egg whites, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
Powdered sugar-about 1/2 cup to roll the cookie dough in
Step 1: Combine the first 6 ingredients together and stir well.
Step 2: Mix in the softened butter, with a pastry blender until the butter is cut into the flour mixture.
Step 3: Add the egg whites and vanilla. Stir it with a spoon and mix it well.
Then use your hands to get it totally mixed together well.
Step 4: Make the dough into 1 1/2 inch balls. Roll them into the powdered sugar.
Step 5: Bake 12-14 minutes at 350 degrees on a cookie sheet. You want the cookies set on the edge, but not over baked.
Step 6: cool on a cookie rack and eat hot! Delicious!
