Ghostly Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
2 cups flour
1t. Soda
3/4 t. Salt
1 1/3 c. Sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1 t. Vanilla
3/4 c. Milk
2 eggs
1/3 c. Cocoa
1/4 c. Milk
Step 1: Mix the first 6 ingredients together. Add the 3/4 c. Milk and best 2 minutes, scraping the sides of the bowl as you go
Step 2: Now add the 2 eggs unbeaten, 1/3 c. Cocoa and 1/4 c. Milk. Best one more minute.
Step 3: Pour into to two 8 inch grease pans and bake, 30-40 minutes, checking to see when it turns loose on the edges and a,tooth pick comes out clean when inserted in the center of the cake. DO NOT OVER COOK.
BOO! Chocolate Icing
Ingredients
1 stick butter, Land of Lakes is our favorite
4 T. Cocoa
6 T. Milk
1 t. Vanilla
1 box of confectioner's sugar
Peep Ghosts-several boxes
Step 1: Mix the first three ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil to a boil on the stove.
Step 2: then add the vanilla and the box of sifted conf. sugar.
Step 3: Stir until smooth off the burner and now ice the cake
DRIPPING CHOCOLATE SAUCE Mix Smucker's Chocolate Sundae Syrup with confectioner's sugar until the consistency is thicker and will pour slowly. Then Drip it along the edges of the stacked cake to give it an extra touch!
Step 4: Drip the sauce along the side
Step 5: Add the Peeps Marshmallow Ghosts
